After close to 3 years away from showing due to the global pandemic, we are finally returning to the show bench with our kitties! Please see updates as they come through below.

This was Cake's first show in four years so I wasn't sure how he would cope with all the attention, but he took it all in like a proper trooper.

M 25.05.17 Blue Golden Selkirk Rex Shorthair of six and a half years of age. Nice broad head with round underlying bone structure and full cheeks. In profile rounded forehead, medium nose break and short, broad straight nose with a downward slant. Good muzzle with well padded whisker pads, level bite and fair depth chin. Neat ears are set well apart. Large, round, well open, green eyes set wide apart. Cobby body of very good size and weight with a rectangular appearance with shoulders and rump being equally broad. Well boned, medium length legs and firm, rounded paws. Medium length tail is thicker at base and with a rounded top. Very dense coat, standing out from the body in short curls particularly around the neck.

Blue Golden Tipped LH head most pleasing but because of his colour he tends to be smaller in stature as are the majority of his colour. It is well rounded with well-rounded cheeks, slightly rounded brow good break definite without being extreme, good prominence to the muzzle, as it stands away from the line of his cheeks, the chin was good as was the bite. despite some staining on his teeth, possibly an age related issue. his ears a smaller medium size. While his eyes are a good larger size, whilst no points for the colour they are a perfectly good definite green. As befits his colour though again no points. Compact body shape rising on his flanks, proportionately developed legs & paws, balanced tail that was well covered in dense tighter curl whilst there are no points for colour & pattern it does appear to be little unfair not to mention that as a Blue Golden, it often takes considerably longer to reach maturity & whilst he is now these Blue Goldens are never going to be the largest of their particular breed, his coat is not as long as the other 2 exhibits, he also has tighter loose curl that is very springy & soft with a an extremely dense texture

AMARILLI’S CH AMAZOLOU CAKE BYTHE OCEAN SRL gs 12 01-11-22 Smart fifteen months old Blue Tortie Silver Shaded and White Selkirk Rex Longhair girl. Sweet face of round underlying bone structure to broad, round head which has full cheeks. Rounded forehead, nice nose break and short, broad, straight nose with a slight downward slant. Medium width to muzzle with well padded whisker pads. Level bite and good depth, level chin. Medium sized ears, broad at base and set well apart. Cute expression to large, round, pale green, well open eyes set wide apart. Level back to cobby body giving a rectangular appearance with equally broad shoulders and rump. Well boned, medium length legs and firm rounded paws. Medium length tail is thicker at base and has a rounded p and with some curls to the fur. Semi-longhair coat is thick and dense, standing out from the body in well curled fur with a soft, plush feel. Very curly tummy. Ruff to sides of neck. Sweet natured.

GR AMARILLI’S CH AMAZOLOU MIRABILIS SRL gs 03 01

Blue Tortie Silver Tipped LH Another LH this girl was daintier. As one would expect than the boys, the coat length lay somewhere between the two, clear silver undercoat. Well open eyes. Head is round with fullness to the cheeks, round on the brow, with a nose break that is neither to shallow nor too definite, broad nose with prominent muzzle creating a gentle though definite matchbox effect, The ears have wide base & are a smaller medium size, set well apart, small, tufted tips with lightly rounded effect, Eyes are well open, good width between, ideally I would like them larger. Whilst not as. weighty as the boys understandably due to gender, her body was cobby & weighty for her size , with good bone overall, to her legs & smaller paws, her tail has a heavier base & is well furnished the coat is midway in length between the two boys, it has very unstructured softness & density to it very bouncy as it stands away from the body with abundant loose curl more evident, on her ruff & chest area with more curl present on her tummy . She is undeniably very pleasing miss & most unfortunate to meet up with such fierce competition, her condition was wonderful. Impressive coat quality.

Selkirk Rex variant entered as Pedigree Pet Kitten due to the fact that she doesn't have the curls for the standard Selkirk Classes. This was Kokomo's last Ped Pet show.

1st - Amarilli's KOKOMO, (PPS g 03 22) F 12.04.2023 BoC - Amarilli's KOKOMO, (PPS g 03 22) F 12.04.2023 Another beautiful classic tabby, with my absolute favourite feature of the white. I immediately knew she was going to get the BoC, and she was honestly so cute and so polite for such a young girl. She was so well prepped that I couldn’t even get the words to describe her. She seemed very fascinated by the cat toy in my pocket that I couldn’t resist playing with her. I wish her the best in the future and hopes she grows into an even more fabulous cat. Absolutely loved her.

1st BoC Amarilli's KOKOMO, (PPS g 03 22) F 12.04.2023 WOWZAAAA!! What a gorgeous girl. Beautiful blue and white tortie pattern, like a watercolour painting. Super confident - she just strolled out of her pen onto the table. Sweet little rounded paws, her coat is short and dense. A total fusspot and a purrer – she was giving me lots of smooches and cuddles and sat quite happily on the table, and in my arms. A total VA VA VOOM baby. My take home kitten of the day, what a joy!

1st C Amarilli's AMAZOLOU MIRABILIS, (SRL gs 03 11) F 01.11.2022 Dainty pretty female. Nice shape to head. Medium sized ears set good width apart. Her eyes although round could be a little bolder. Short nose. Rectangular muzzle clearly visible beyond cheeks. Her whisker pads could be slightly more prominent. Level bite fair chin. Her body is finely boned but surprisingly weighty. She stands on elegant short legs and small paws. She has a beautiful full feathery tail. Her coat is soft and plush and stands away from her body in loose waves.

AMARILLI’S AMAZOLOU MIRABILIS. Blue Tortie Silver Shaded & White. 1/11/2022. Pretty young lady who is suitably mature for just over a year old, feminine and of pleasing to very pleasing type, perhaps a little petite overall. Cobby body is just of medium size, more rectangular than square and of good weight and substance for size, firm and wellmuscled with solid underlying boning, back is level, broad gently rounded chest, short thick neck and well-shaped sturdy legs of medium length ending in firm round paws in proportion. Head has rounded skull, broader than it is deep with good width to rounded cheeks, which are filling out nicely, muzzle is of medium breadth with firm well-padded whisker-pads giving a distinct rectangular impression when she is settled curly whiskers and eye-brows. Medium ears are broad at the base and of good shape, spaced well apart with curly inner furnishings and tiny tufts at tips. Large eyes are full and round in shape, held well open and set wide apart to give typical expression. Gentle curve to brow, good break nose is short, broad and straight, chin is level and of quite good depth. Good coat length with quite good density, covers well and feels quite thick and plentiful with a soft plush texture overall, hairs are almost straight along spine-line, slight curl to hairs along sides and on upper flanks, tighter curls on lower flanks, down chest and on underparts, tighter curls on back of neck and to small ruff framing face, gentle curls down legs, rexing on head. Shown in very good condition, groomed and well presented. Tail is thick with rounded tip and of medium length to balance, covered all around with slightly curled hairs to form a good plume. A little nervous out on the table, gentle and sweet natured back in her bed, ideally I’d like her a bit bigger but felt her worthy of the CC today.

1st & Challenge Certificate awarded to DELPHINIUM PLATINUM COSMOS, (BSH n) M 24.03.2022 owned by Miss Z L Amarilli. This is a very promising young adult male just 19 months old with excellent qualities. It was his compactness which I found initially very striking. He just needs a bit more size as he matures to fill out and, as such progress cannot be accelerated, it calls for patience. His head is very round indeed and true to type with neat, well-set ears, an excellent British side profile with correct break, good chin and bite and a particularly good top of head allowing plenty of space between the ears. His large, round, expressive orange eyes add to his appeal. Physique is excellent with a strong, cobby British body, a broad chest and substance to the strong legs and rounded paws. The tail length balanced the body well and had the correct rounded tip. His coat was well prepared and was a clear and intense black showing soundness and without any white hairs. In excellent condition and with a good temperament, a promising future waiting for him.

CC AMARILLI’S DELPHINIUM PLATINUM COSMOS BSH n M 24.03.22 Good overall balance to this nineteen months old boy. Broad head has full cheeks to a round face when viewed from the front and rounded top of head of good width between neat ears set far apart to follow the outer contours of the head, small in size and rounded at the tips. In profile rounded brow, medium nose break, nose a trifle long but straight. Level bite and good depth, level chin. Large and well open, orange eyes set wide apart. Very good size and weight to cobby body with a level back, low on legs, full, broad, deep chest, proportionate length and well boned legs and large, rounded paws. Good length tail is thicker at base and rounded at tip. Fairly short, nice and dense coat, just the soft side of crisp in texture. Black British with lovely shiny, black surface colour, fades slightly at roots. Lovely temperament.

M.Lynch Show Report - 1st AC BIC –Kokomo Of Amazolou – A stunning 5 month old baby I really wanted to take home – my take home cat of the day. What a confident little miss she is. Her whole body purrs. Beautiful copper coloured eyes. Super prepared plush short coat. Lovely and soft. Bushy blue tabby tail. She has blue tabby markings with areas of white that sparkled. This was then overlaid with tortie creamy peach colour that was really most attractive. I just loved her.

S.Holden Show Report 1st & BIC awarded Kokomo of Amazolou, SH, Blue Tortie Classic Tabby & White Bi-Colour, one word ‘stunning’ albeit I do need to write a few more, what a baby, the palest of coat colours, pale blue against the pale peach against the crisp white, yellow/green eyes a total purr box and full of personality a credit to her owner she is sublime.

Body is cobby in type and she stands on legs that are medium in length Barbara Prowse Page 3 9/21/2023 3 on round firm paws. Head is broad and round with ears that are medium in size and set well apart. Orange eyes that are large and round. Muzzle is medium in length with well padded whisker pads. She has curly whiskers. Nose is short broad and straight with a downward slant. Level bite. Coat is thick and dense and is well rexed. Coat length is pretty uniform over the entire body. Tail is thick and medium. Wonderful temperament.

1PC. AMARILLI’S AMAZOLOU PEEKABOO. Black Tortie Silver Shaded & White. 24/4/2016. An attractive girl of medium size, mature and distinctly feminine in appearance and of very pleasing type. Solid cobby body is of good weight and substance for size, more rectangular than square and feeling firm and muscular with solid underlying boning, back is level with equal breadth to shoulders and rump, broad gently rounded chest, short thick neck and sturdy shapely legs of medium length ending in firm round paws in proportion with toe-tufts. Head shows rounded skull, broader than it is deep with good width to well-filled round cheeks, muzzle is of medium breadth with firm quite well-padded whisker-pads, enough to give a visible rectangular impression, curled whiskers and eye-brows bite is untidy with incisors missing, but appears level. Ears are of medium size, broad at the base and of good shape and spaced well apart to fit the contour of her head, curly inner furnishings and tufts at tips. Large eyes are full and round in shape with attractive black eye-liner, held well open and set wide apart to give typical expression.
